Our Customer Reviews Of Our Plumbing & Well Service

Testimonials

I was in a panic being on a well system and waking up to no water! All it took was one call and by the next day everything was rectified! Melina (sp?) on the phone was courteous, friendly and efficient! Freddy sourced out the problem with confidence explaining to me as he went along. I was proposed options and a quote with the work follow-up the very next day. A great crew and excellent work! I am a very satisfied customer and guarantee you would be too if you ever need their services.

Great experience for a well/ pump job that was otherwise a nightmare. David was extremely helpful and honest about what needed to be fixed, didn't push for unnecessary jobs. Was a great experience the first time, that we had him come back a second time to fix more issues. had a team come in and fix a leaky well pipe relatively quickly and efficiently. super happy with the result and glad we had them come in. thanks!

When we found our
well pump
was leaking, I called PHD. They had someone to the house within a couple of hours. Freddy quickly identified the source of the leak, but also noticed another fitting that was badly corroded and that the pressure tank was failing (not too surprising given that the system hasn't been updated in 20 years). He was able to get all the parts, install and test everything the same day. Freddy was pleasant and professional. The repair was done in a day, efficiently and brought our
well pump
and pressure tank back up to code. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you!

FAQS

How does a well water system work?

A well water system draws water from an underground source using a well pump. The pump lifts the water to the surface and sends it into a pressure tank, which maintains water pressure in your home’s plumbing system. Additional treatment systems may be used to ensure the water is safe to drink and use.

What should I do if my well water pump stops working?

If your well water pump stops working, first check for common issues like power supply problems or a tripped breaker. If these are not the cause, it may be necessary to call a professional to inspect and repair or replace the pump.

How can I protect my well water from contamination?

To protect your well water, ensure that the wellhead is properly sealed, keep hazardous chemicals and waste away from the well, and maintain proper drainage around the well site. Regular testing and maintenance are also crucial for safeguarding your water quality.

What types of treatment systems are available for well water?

Treatment systems for well water can include filters for sediment, carbon filters for taste and odor, water softeners for hardness, and UV or chemical disinfection systems for bacteria and other pathogens. The type of treatment needed depends on the specific contaminants present in your water.

How long does a well water pump typically last? Title Here

The lifespan of a well water pump varies depending on the type, usage, and maintenance. On average, submersible pumps last about 8 to 15 years, while jet pumps might last 7 to 10 years. Regular maintenance can help extend the life of your pump.
